Instructions to Authors

Acta Pharmaceutica Sciencia (Acta Pharma. Sci.) is published trimesterly. Articles deal with the results of original research in pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetic, medical, biomedical and environmental sciences. The papers submitted for publication must be unpublished work and should contain data that have not previously been published elsewhere as a whole or in part. Review papers are also accepted. The review must provide a synthesis and critical evaluation of the state of knowledge of the subject. Manuscript should be written in clear and concise English and conform to the general style of the journal.
Manuscripts should be in three copies and 3.5''disk included. Manuscript may be accepted for publication after the advice of two referees.

Types of Contribution and  Manuscript Preparation.
Manuscript should be type written and double-spaced throughout on 155-205 mm in the following order: The first page should include the Title of the paper and the name(s) and complete mailing address' of the author(s). Author's name in 12 pt. (Bold) min. address in 10 pt.
The title should be in English and Turkish (for Turkish writers) in size of letter 14 pt. The corresponding author should be clearly identified and  fax number and E-Mail address provided.
On the second page there should be an Abstract  followed  by Key words.

Abstract. It should not exceed 100 words in 10 pt.

Key words. They should not exceed 6 words in 10 pt.

Abstract and Key words shall be limited between two lines
The Abstract should be followed by an Introduction , Material and Method, Results, Discussion, Summary in Turkish (for Turkish writers)

Acknowledgements and References.
Introduction, Material and Method, Results, Discussion and References. They should be written in 12 pt. bold.
Text. It should be written in 11 pt. Tables and Figures should be within the text in Arabical numerals.
Özet. Turkish summary by Turkish authors 10 pt.
Offprints. 25 offprints will be supplied free of charge
References. References should be cited in the text by the author's surname and date, such as (Smith, 1990), and articles authored by more than two persons as (Jones et al., 1991).
References should be given in the following form: Arranged alphabetically according to the author's surname, date of publication, title of article, journal or book title, volume number, inclusive pages and (for books) publisher and city.
